PILOTMAN:PLM Change Management

The application module LOTSMAN:PLM Change management is designed to manage changes in design, technological and other documentation.

Changes are made in two ways:

  • by issuing and approving a change notice
  • by logging and approving changes in the change log

Using the LOTSMAN:PLM Change Management module, the user can:

  • initiate a change in the document or data and enter the mandatory information about the change provided for by GOST 2.503-2013;
  • generate a change notification form in KOMPAS-3D according to a predetermined template, for example, in the form provided for by GOST 2.503-2013;
  • compare BOM versions to log changes to the change log.

After the notification and the actually changed documents and data are approved, an employee of the archive service (technical documentation bureau) registers them and starts the change procedure, during which new versions of information objects and their corresponding electronic documents become relevant for all users of LOTSMAN:PLM. Previous versions are also stored in the database.

The following notification types are supported:

  • notice of change;
  • advance notice;
  • additional notice;
  • additional advance notice;
  • change proposal.
