” LOTSMAN:PLM Configurator ” is a database configuration module for the LOTSMAN:PLM system.
In the Configurator, a list of types of objects that the system will operate on is created, their properties are set, and methods of interaction between objects are set. The settings made in the Configurator determine which objects of the material world the system will work with.

Using the LOTSMAN: Configurator module, you can define:

• data model – sets of attributes, documents, types, states, relationships, with the help of which information objects and relationships between them can be described;
• list of subjects – a set of roles, users who will operate information objects;
• organizational structure of the enterprise operating the LOTSMAN:PLM system;
• business logic – a set of rules and restrictions used by the subsystem of complex
  automation of business processes LOTSMAN WorkFlow;
• parameters for displaying information in the client application;
• a set of reports that will be used in the client application to present information in accordance with established regulations and production needs;
• a number of other parameters required to work with the LOTSMAN:PLM system.

All subsequent operation of the system depends on the settings made in the configuration module. Therefore, the configuration should be performed by qualified system administrators in cooperation with specialists who have complete information about the production
processes and information flows of a particular enterprise (organization) where the system is planned to be operated.
