The web client provides access to information in LOTSMAN:PLM without using a client application. Access is via the Internet, or a local network using a browser on a workstation, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

The web client has the following features:

• reading information, including objects, attributes, relationships, versions, states, document files, secondary representation;
• saving files to the user’s device (workstation, tablet, smartphone), including a set of files of a 3D product assembly model;
• customization of interface frames (composition and location of information, sizes of tabs and windows);
• linking interface settings to user profiles LOTSMAN:PLM.

The product is an ASP.Net application that runs on an IIS – Microsoft Internet Information Services web server and works with SQL accounts.
