The application is designed for express analysis of dynamic, kinematic and static systems designed in KOMPAS-3D.

 

The Express universal mechanism is aimed at design engineers involved in the analysis of the dynamic behavior of machines and mechanisms, and is a specialized application for the KOMPAS-3D system. Mechanisms are described as systems of rigid bodies, hinges and power elements. During the analysis, direct animation of the movement of a three-dimensional model during the calculation is supported. Almost all necessary quantities are available for analysis: coordinates, velocities, accelerations, reaction forces in hinges, forces in springs, etc.

The application includes the following features:

  • work with linear power elements or changing according to a harmonic law, which are selected from a fixed base of models;
  • setting a uniform, uniformly accelerated or uniformly slow motion, or its change according to a harmonic law for solving kinematics problems;
  • the possibility of solving the contact interactions of bodies, the problem is solved under the condition that the bodies do not intersect during kinematic or dynamic motion.

Visualization of the library operation is created in a separate window, and the user is given the opportunity to obtain visual information about the movement of the object and its dynamic and kinematic characteristics directly in the simulation process.
