The application is designed to automate the design and construction of three-dimensional models of shafts, bushings, mechanical transmission elements and various structural elements in the KOMPAS-3D environment.

 

Built-in calculation modules, catalogs of materials and standard products help the engineer to create models of units and mechanisms in the shortest possible time. The results of design and strength calculations can be presented in the form of reports and saved in any convenient format. Standard KOMPAS-Graph tools allow you to quickly draw up design documentation in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documents.

Shafts and mechanical transmissions 3D application tools can be used to design the following elements of mechanical transmissions:

  • cylindrical gears with external and internal gearing;

  • bevel gears with a straight tooth;
  • V-belt pulleys;

    • automated calculation of displacement coefficients makes it possible to design an external spur gear with involute teeth, which has optimal properties according to several criteria: contact strength, bending strength, equal strength of teeth, wear resistance and galling resistance, smooth operation.
    • Design calculations of gears are carried out according to the created mathematical models of functioning, which, together with the use of optimization methods, makes it possible to select a number of gear options that satisfy the specified operating conditions.
  • Parts can be designed not only in accordance with the domestic regulatory framework (GOST, OST), but also in accordance with the standards of other countries (AGMA, ASA, DIN, ISO, JIS, GBT). The use of foreign standards in the design of mechanical transmissions expands the possibilities for repairing imported components and assemblies, while helping to reduce the time and cost of repairing complex technological equipment.
  • When designing toothed-belt and V-belt pulleys, the belt can be selected both according to domestic standards and according to the catalogs of Optibelt (Germany).
  • The 2D profiles of the gear rims and the generated 3D models are absolutely correct and geometrically correct. They can be used without any restrictions when creating programs for CNC machines. Generation of 3D models of gear rims is available subject to tolerance. The generation of gear rims is performed on the functionality of the C3D KOMPAS-3D core.

At the industrial enterprises of Russia and the CIS countries, parts were repeatedly manufactured according to complexly formed models, such as worm wheels of cylindrical and globoid worm gears, bevel gears with circular teeth. At the same time, each time they deserved a high rating based on the results of their industrial operation.
