SCULPTURE IN MECHANICS SPRINGS

Mechanics: Springs

Mechanics: Springs

Mechanics: Springs
The application allows you to perform design and verification calculations of compression, tension, torsion springs, as well as Belleville, conical and shaped springs. According to the results of calculations, drawings and 3D models are automatically generated.

The application is based on the following calculation methods:

  • compression and extension springs – GOST 13764-86, GOST 13765-86;
  • Belleville springs – GOST 3057-90;
  • torsion springs – a technique from the book of V.I. Anuryev ”Handbook of the designer-machine builder” volume 3;
  • conical and shaped springs – a technique from the book by S. D. Ponomarev, L. E. Andreev “Calculation of elastic elements of machines and devices.”

As a result of the design calculation, the system offers a set of solutions that satisfy the initial data, from which the designer can choose the optimal one according to one or more criteria.

When creating a drawing of a spring, you can select the type of hooks, automatically set dimensions, detail views, diagrams of deformations or forces.

After inserting the spring model into the assembly, you can change the length of the spring, which allows you to set the part to the working state or intermediate.

As practice shows, using the Springs application allows you to increase the speed of designing and issuing design documentation for springs by 15–20 times.

Requires for work: KOMPAS-3D
