Designer’s electronic guide
The ASCON electronic reference system significantly reduces the designer’s time to search for information, calculate structural elements and analyze engineering data. The directory has a simple, intuitive interface.

Electronic articles of the Designer’s Handbook contain general technical information, information about the structural elements of parts, standard products, typical assemblies, parts, and methods for their calculation. Reference data on materials, surface roughness, tolerances and fits are also presented; limit deviations of the shape and location of surfaces.

As an automated calculation tool, the Designer’s Handbook allows you to calculate bearings, couplings, springs, detachable and one-piece connections, screw, gear, worm, chain and belt drives.

The calculation results are presented in a dialog box as a report and exported to Microsoft Word or OpenOffice.org Writer applications. The exported report is displayed as a table containing the names, designations and values of variables (it is also possible to create a report according to the user’s own template).

The introduction of the system into the design processes will allow the designer to significantly improve the quality of design.

Discussion

Discussion allows you to ask questions directly to the instructor.
