Mold 3DThe Molds 3D application is designed to automate the design and technological work of designing molds for injection molding of plastic products, and the formation of a set of technical documentation necessary for the production of molds.
The application provides:
- Analysis of a 3D model of a part and design of mold forming elements.
- Design a mold package automatically or interactively.
- Control of the constructive admissibility of mold parts as a necessary condition for mold performance.
- Automatic formation in accordance with the ESKD of a set of documentation required for the production of a mold (3D models, assembly drawings, specifications, detailing).
Mold 3D contains:
- Equipment database, which includes more than 60 models of injection molding machines.
- Knowledge base of mold designs with the possibility of expanding it taking into account additional user requirements;
- Parametric libraries of drawings of structural elements of molds.
The application allows:
- Design molds for pusher, plate and their combinations.
- Design molds with one or two parallel opening planes.
- Design molds with side entry (sliders).
- Design molds with a “typical” or “column-mount” way of centering the movable and fixed parts.
- Change the design and design features of the mold elements in order to fully adapt the manufacturing technology and tool production capabilities.
