Materials and Assortments for KOMPAS
The library contains an extensive list of materials and assortments, information about the properties of materials, purpose and scope, substitutes and replacement conditions, information on regulatory documents, etc.

This software product is very convenient to use together with other KOMPAS-3D and KOMPAS-Graph modules. It provides the constructor with the following information:

• Designations and documents for the supply of ferrous and non-ferrous metals, their alloys and non-metallic materials (including building materials);
• Physical-mechanical, technological properties of structural materials, their purpose and fields of application;
• Types of assortment (shaped, sheet, profile, etc.) made from these materials, including lists of standard sizes produced by the industry;
• Brands of lubricants with data on their properties and areas of application;
• Brands of paintwork, metal and non-metal coatings, including characteristics and operating conditions of coatings;
• Correspondence tables of Russian and foreign steel grades.

The total number of materials in the library is more than 12,500 titles. Including:

• 1700 domestic grades of steels and alloys;
• 2279 foreign grades of steels and alloys;
• 145 grades of cast iron;
• 1270 brands of non-ferrous metals and alloys;
• 270 types of alloying alloys;
• 480 brands of oils and lubricants;
• 240 brands of varnishes and paints;
• 700 brands of plastics;
• 475 brands of adhesives;
• 1500 items of welding materials;
• 620 types of wires and cables;
• 580 names of building materials;
• 131 types of electroplated coatings;
• 46 items of composite materials.

The database contains 46,258 items of assortments.

In addition to basic information about materials and assortments, the guide contains information about manufacturers and suppliers, data on friction coefficients, and gluing conditions for various materials.

The base of materials is constantly updated and kept up to date. The information contained in it is checked for compliance with the current regulatory documentation (GOST, OST, TU, etc.).
