ESKD classifier
A large number of design and technological tasks require the classification of parts and assembly units according to their geometric characteristics.

The ESKD classifier is an expert system for fast and unambiguous assignment of the code of the designed part.

The classifier contains a unique database of vector images – about 8000 sketches of machine-building parts (classes 71 to 75), as well as textual descriptions of the technological characteristics of parts and assembly units (classes 04 to 94).

To assign a code to a designer, all you have to do is answer five questions about the geometry of the part and view the proposed sketches. There is also a mode of fuzzy search for a sketch in terms of geometric features.

The assigned code is used for reasonable borrowing of standard design and technological design solutions.

The ESKD classifier is an independent application integrated with KOMPAS-3D and KOMPAS-Graph.
