The main purpose of the application is to automate the release of design documentation for the “Production Technology” section.
Application tools solve a number of designer tasks:
Creation of a principal (functional) technological scheme.
To solve this problem, the designer can use all available equipment and pipes from the catalog in a simplified (schematic) display. When the diagram is created, a specification is automatically created on the drawing sheet.
Design of technological piping and arrangement of equipment on plans and sections of buildings and structures.
This task is solved using the equipment and pipes in the detailed representation from the catalog. In this case, the designer gets the opportunity to take into account elevation marks. The application automatically calculates the length of pipes, takes into account the height marks of equipment, pipelines and fittings, as well as whether the equipment belongs to production lines. After placing the equipment in the design position, we proceed to the solution of the next task – to tying them with communications.
Arrangement of fittings (with a tie-in into the pipe)
When inserting reinforcement into a pipe, the parameters (for example, diameters) of the elements to be connected are checked for the same parameters. The parts and the pipeline “feel” each other and when the reinforcement is inserted, the pipe will automatically break, and when the part moves along the length of the pipe, the pipe will be rebuilt.

Transfer of the constructed pipeline model to the START software package for further calculation and analysis

Construction of a three-dimensional model of technological pipelines
